Good news in a long time

Passed my theory G8 exam. Fantastic news. Had to stop myself from trying to jump in joy.

2 kids took G1 theory exam at the same time. Both got a Distinction.

There's red wine in the liquor cupboard.

Life is perfect.

High-rise mints

Trying to plant mint so I can have some greenery in the house and an unlimited supply of mint tea.

2nd day of germination.

And yep, I live pretty high up. 14 floors in fact.

Heh heh.

If these sprout okay, Imma try some other herbs. Wanted to get Stevia a.k.a Sweetleaf but as usual, it is banned in Singapore.

Boo....

Terrible

I'm becoming a terrible person. Let me explain.

Dad told me he might not pick me up from work @ Chua Chu Kang tomorrow. Curious, I asked why. He usually is rather anal with picking me up from CCK and I love him for it. Sometimes all I want to do is sleep in the car after running outside the whole day and getting my brain juice squeezed out with consecutive school lessons.

"Mummy lo, she say she go Karaoke."

Twinge of irritation. Well, actually, it was a lot more than a twinge, but I'm trying to be nice.

Yeah, I need to learn to be a better person.

Gotta love myself for picking a school which I have to travel 3 hours to and fro. But a deal is a deal. I got assigned these kids and I will teach them until they don't want me or they quit piano.

Yeah!!

I FOUND IT!!

I had this mechanical pencil for almost half a decade. I loved to use it especially for doodling. I also kept dropping it and the tip dented so the lead that came out was always in itty bitty pieces. It officially died a couple of years ago. Tried to find it but could never seem to find the exact same one.

When I saw it in Popular again, I nearly yelled in excitement. This time, I'm getting 2!!

Muahahahhaha!!!!!

Yep, Gin is deliriously happy. :D

Shittiest Soup

Parents said I had been looking a little bit peaky so Mom, in a rare mood of pampering, decided to brew me this Chinese Herbal soup that is good for blood production.

Came home and was presented with a medium sized bowl of brown-black soup.

1st sip, wasn't too bad. Kinda like Chicken Essence gone bad.

Half way through the bowl, the liquid was gone, only the sediments were left. Yeah. Half a bowl of pure grinded herb sediment.

That part was gawd-awful. Imagine fine sand and water. But brown-black. And smelly. And gritty. And uuuugggghhhhhh. The worst thing is, Mom insisted the sediments is the most nutritious part.

(I think she was secretly enjoying my pain.)

I think I'll gladly continue to look peaky.

Trying

It is easier to be alone than to keep trying to fit into others' time and space.

The only thing that should matter to me right now is my own time.

That's all I need and should need.

Resolution no.1

Keeping my surroundings in order so keeping my life in order will be easier.

DUST BUNNIES!!!

The sight I saw after trying to pick up a hair clip that had fallen behind my beside table.

Spring cleaning is in order!

Crazy drivers

Don't mind me, had to rant.

Drivers who don't give way or honk unreasonably when a learner has the L plate prominently displayed should be taken to the garbage dumps and shot point blank. Period.

Had a lesson today and got honked for stupid reasons not once, not twice but THRICE!!

One: I was at the traffic junction, waiting for my turn to turn right. When I reached the stop line, the green arrow had already flashed for some time, so if I turned, it will be reckless driving on my part, so I stopped and just nice it turned red. I am so smart. Bloody male driver behind me honked. WHAT-IS-YOUR-PROBLEM? You can't turn on a red light! Go ahead and die. You are just noise pollution!!

Two: I stopped just before the yellow box because plenty of cars up ahead. Container truck turned in from side lane into yellow box and we waited for the green light. Nothing wrong about that. Car behind me honked again. Had to fight the sudden urge to reverse straight into the bloody male driver. Not my car anyway.

Three: My lane up ahead will be blocked by stationary cars another hundred metres or so, so I signaled right for the longest time so I could enter the next lane. Bloody male driver was talking on the phone one and a half carlengths behind me. Wanted to let him pass first but he was just cruising at the stupid speed still yapping. So I turned into the lane. And he honked.

Die die die!!
